European Patent Office - Refurbishment of the office building "Isar", Munich

The headquarters of the European Patent Office in Munich is undergoing a comprehensive and energy-efficient refurbishment. The ten-story high-rise building with a flat roof is distinguished by its fully glazed facades featuring projecting gallery walkways and vertical fins. Inventors and companies from around the world can apply there for patents valid in up to 44 European countries, which are examined, granted, or rejected by the patent office.

In Altenessen-Süd, on an area of 34,000 m², a state-of-the-art and sustainable comprehensive school with 6 parallel classes, including sports halls, is being built in a hybrid timber construction. Around 1,300 school places will be created.

The administrative district of Karlsruhe is building the modern administrative and educational centre KARLA in the inner city of Karlsruhe. The sustainable building ensemble consists of a low-rise building and a 90-meter high-rise building, which will be one of the tallest buildings in hybrid timber construction.

The new school complex in Munich's Neu-Forstenried district is being constructed as a compact hybrid timber building. A primary school, a lower secondary school, a house for children and a triple gym will be built. There will be room for up to 950 students.

The new, state-of-the-art hospital building is part of the new national planning of hospital care in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The building complex will have a floor space of 54,150 m², 9 above-ground and 3 underground floors, 18 operating rooms, 2 helipads and an underground car park. The 30 x 30 meter large courtyards provide daylight and guarantee the patients the view into the green.
