Cookies by LinkedIn
When you visit the LinkedIn page, LinkedIn may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your browser and stored on its hard drive. Only the internet protocol address is stored here – no personal data. This information stored in the cookies allows to automatically recognise you the next time you visit our website, which makes it easier for you to use it. Statistical data collection by LinkedIn
LinkedIn provides statistical data using LinkedIn Insights. This application can help to discover further information on demographics, location or consumer behaviour of potential customers. LinkedIn Insights investigates who you have reached with your own advertising message. The corresponding data can then be displayed either for all LinkedIn users or for the fans of a page as well as for a specified custom audience. The Insights then provide more detailed information:
- Demographic indications: Age, gender, relationship status, etc.
- Follower: Information from fans for other LinkedIn pages
- Location and language setting of users
- Telephone number
- Activity of selected users
- Proportion of men and women
- Occupations
- Route planner
According to LinkedIn, all data visible in the Insights are aggregated and anonymous for advertisers. Consequently, no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. We use these in aggregated form to make the contributions and activities on our site more attractive to each user individually. For example, we use the distribution by age and gender for customised communication and the prioritised visit times of the users to optimise the timing of the entries on this LinkedIn page. Information about the type of terminals used by visitors helps us to adapt the posts visually. In accordance with the LinkedIn Terms of Use, which each user has agreed to when creating a LinkedIn profile, we may identify the subscribers and fans of the site and view their profiles and other shared information from them.
Users’ rights of data subjects

Right to information
You can request information from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.
Right to rectification
If we process your data which are incomplete or incorrect, you can at any time request their correction or completion from us.
Right to deletion
You may request the deletion of your data from us if we process it unlawfully or if the processing interferes disproportionately in your legitimate protection interests. Please note that there may be reasons that prevent immediate deletion, e.g. in the case of legally regulated retention obligations.
Regardless of the exercise of your right to erasure, we will delete your data immediately and completely, unless there is a legal or statutory retention obligation in this regard.
Right to restriction of processing
You may request the restriction of the processing of your data from us if:

- this processing is carried out by automated means.
In case of technical feasibility, you can request a direct transfer of your data from us to another responsible party.
Right to object
If we process your data for legitimate interest, you can, at any time, enter an objection against this data processing; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can prove compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. You can object to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
Right of appeal
